Qutubuddin-Aibak had started the construction of this building, but he could not complete it. Qutubuddin-Aibak died before its work could be completed. After this, this work was completed by his successor Iltutmish.

What is higher than Qutub Minar

Although this is Mumtaz Mahal and Shahjahan’s tomb, but it is so beautiful to look at that your eyes will remain wide open. Due to its carving and excellent workmanship, it has also been included among the seven wonders of the world. Taj Mahal is made of white marble stones. It is said that after getting it built, Shahjahan had the hands of the workers chopped off. So that no other such building can be built in the world. How much higher is Qutub Minar

If you see in the pictures So you would not think that Taj Mahal can be higher than Qutub Minar. But in reality it is taller than Qutub Minar. Actually, the height of Qutub Minar is 72 meters. Whereas the height of Taj Mahal is 73 meters. That is, there is a difference of only one meter between the two, but Taj Mahal is higher than Qutub Minar.

Today you can see Qutub Minar only. Can be seen from outside, but till a few years ago tourists could also go inside Qutub Minar. Now the question arises that what happened that the doors of this building were closed forever. Actually, an accident took place here on 4 December 1981 and many people lost their lives in this accident. For this reason the doors of Qutub Minar were closed.
